The room
The room has a spacious private bathroom with a walk-in rain shower. The room has an extra-large double box spring. Children are more than welcome. Optionally an extra (children’s) bed is available.
Food
You cannot cook in the suite, but the breakfast is included. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy your breakfast on the sheltered terrace or in the garden. Delft has many restaurants, cafés, and bistros where you can enjoy a delicious meal. Literally everything is within walking distance from the B&B. In the room you will find a useful guidebook of Delft with all the information you need. And if you are interested, we can always suggest our favourite places.

Delft and surroundings
Delft is centrally located, between Rotterdam, The Hague and Leiden all within a range of 20 km. These cities are very accessible by public transport and by car. The (public transport) connection to Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam is also excellent, it will take approx. 40 minutes by train or car. From the city centre you can take Tram 2 which will take you directly to the beach of Scheveningen, The Hague. The recreational area Delftse Hout is about a 10-minute walk from the B&B. Here you can go cycling, taking walks, and relaxing on one of the terraces. There is also a lake and a petting zoo for the little ones, as well as a playground with a water play area.
Extra information
Breakfast with fresh, local produce is served daily from 8 am to 10 am. Every day there is a special surprise, whereby we take allergies and wishes into account.
The B&B Orangerie has NO parking facilities in front of the house. Delft has a pedestrian-friendly historical city centre, which makes parking in the city centre difficult. A spacious convenient 24-hour parking garage is within walking distance from the B&B. B&B Orangerie is also easily accessible by public transport.
From Delft Central Station (railway) you can get to the B&B in fifteen minutes by taking a beautiful walk through the characteristic old town of Delft.
We will be happy to prepare a picnic basket for you. The picnic basket contains a picnic blanket, a bottle of wine or soft drink, French bread, garlic butter, crackers, and fruit. Take the picnic basket with you to the Delftse Hout or the canal banks in front of the house and enjoy watching the boats go by. The picnic basket costs 16.50 euros for 2 persons. You can reserve the picnic basket in advance, or it can be prepared on the day of arrival between 4 and 6 pm.
We also have a small inflatable rubber boat available, that you can slide into the canal right in front of the B&B for a paddle through the Delft canals. The rent of the rubber boat it is 10 euro per day. We charge a 50 Euro deposit for the boat. You can inquire about these extra options in advance via e-mail or during your stay.
